  • Open up source SDK and ensure source 2009 is selected.
  • Make sure to click "refresh SDK content" and "Reset game configurations"
  • Select Counter-strike:Source
  • Launch hammer

well, i guess it worked, sorta :p
i hit the refresh thing -> source sdk crashed -> reopened -> tried again -> crash -> restarted steam -> tried reset game config -> crash.. then it worked
