The title pretty much explains it... I want to know if you can make circular shaped holes in walls without using carve.

You make a arch thats 360 degrees, sides doesn't matter. Then if you want the whole to be 64 units you figure out what 1/4th of the wall is and make that amount the wall width. Then clip off the sides. Hard to explain w/o pictures...theres a post somewhere on here about it but idk where it is.

im using the arch thing now cause when you carve the circles it makes so many clips around the hole it makes things harder to see in the 2d view.

The arch width doesn't have to be the diameter of the hole. Anything greater than [2^(1/2) - 1]*Radius will work. A 128 unit diameter hole fits in square if made from an arch that is 192 out-to-out with a 32 unit thickness.
