ALIGN THOSE FUCKING FLOOR TILES OR PUT A TRIGGER WARNING ON THE PICTURES.

Also not optimal, but you could just model multiple parts and use phys motors. Not the most optimal way, but certainly the easiest and most flexible.

Yeh meng, you should keep texture lock off when copy + pasting and rotating multiple parts just so everything looks smooth  \

ALSO: If anyone knows of somebody who can make animated models, I'd love to have a chat with them. The orb in the "flux capacitor" is temporary until I can get a better effect there.

Did you think about using particle effects in place of an animated model?

Do you want it to stop the player dead in their tracks, or does it just have to stop them from progressing past a certain point?  You could just assign a filter name to a player and then use trigger_pushes to bar the player.  Sorry if this doesn't help you.

So you removed the mapper's intended branding and stuck on your own instead? Isn't that the kind of content theft that's discouraged on solid surf? If you really wanted to encourage the play of varied maps you would have a random rotation where people could rtv after 5 minutes if they didn't like the map and it would move on to the next map in the rotation. If people even played on this server they'll just memorize the map names. Plus renaming maps like that isn't cool and adds an extra bit of discouragement to new mappers who know that their map's names will be messed with.
I don't think anyone really cares anymore.
