changing the players speed, stripping weapons...

Here is how!

(Note that the original cstrike.cfg doesnt have player_speedmod and player_weaponstrip...)


Making the weaponstripper.

1. Put a trigger_multiple some where, check the clients flag.
2. Make a player_weaponstrip. Turn off smart edit.
3. Add the key "Name" and the value "wepstrip"
4. Go to the outputs tab on the trigger_multiple. Add an output like this:

OnStartTouch
wepstrip
strip
<none>

Walk into the trigger in game and all your weapons, including your knife and nades, will VANISH!

The speed modifier.


1. Create a trigger_multiple again.
2. Make a player_speedmod.
3. Add keyvalue "Name" and value "speedmodder"
4. Go to the outputs on the trigger and set this way:

OnstartTouch
speedmodder
Modify Speed
<speed multiply number, example: 2.0 for 2x the speed.>

Remember, this modifies the speed you walk, jump, even surf so remember to change it back to 1 with a different trigger later!

A note on the speed.

When you increase the speed, it also increases the rate at which you jump and fall. To prevent such a strange feeling to the player, I like to add in, say for 2x speed, 1/2 gravity. (player specific of course). So now they can bhop, jump around, and experience things at the usual rate you would expect.

Is it able to strip a specific weapon? Like:

OnStartTouch
wepstrip
strip
weapon_awp

or:

OnStartTouch
wepstrip
strip weapon_awp
<none>
