Research on Surf Maps
« on: September 23, 2011, 03:18:40 PM »
Hey all, I'm doing a research paper on surf maps and how it greatly affected me and got me into my major. I need sources and am unable to find anything considered a primary resource  \. I'm just wondering if anybody knows of anything I can use as a resource for my research paper.

Greatly appreciated,

Banjo.

I would suggest you write about something less obscure; for example, 3D modeling and world design programs influenced you in choosing your major.

Agree ^. You're simply not going to be able to find a bibliography-worthy site on surf maps.
I make my maps with Microsoft Paint.

I have tried to explain CS:S surfing to my friends, once. They could not comprehend what I was talking about. They seriously thought I had gone crazy until I showed them a video of it. You may want to rethink what you are writing about.

I tried to explain it to a friend of mine who used to play cs. He got this disgusted look on his face and was all "Like climb?"

Can a person be a primary resource?

Isn't that the definition of a primary source?
