web launch is the worst idea ever.  I haven't been able to join a multiplayer server that has a decent ping.

I haven't been experiencing any problems with the web based launcher. Although it's a stupid idea, it has been working. Origin has been the biggest pain so far. And having to add your friends at origin AND battlelog is ridiculous. They should've just launched it via steam..

Origin doesn't go with BF3 at all, you have to do every thing with Battlelog.

But as this game was made with consoles in mind a PC client doesn't matter does it?

Oh and http://bf3blog.com/2011/10/battlefield-3-has-aggressive-downloadable-content-plan/

Fuck DICE. Fuck EA.

They are idiots. Instead of getting a refund call them several times and say random shit..

I just got a free copy of Crysis 2 and BF3 (calling 2 separate times) over the phone. They just give out Serial numbers like nothing. ALL Of this while trying to activate my physical copy of BF2 i still have laying around. I'll call again tonight, maybe I'll get another free game...

I sent an email to one of EA's "game advisors". I hope they can sort it out for me..

Not surprised. PC is a console game and everyone knows that. The timing of release created this time constraint (before MW3)

Servers are down at the moment. "Could not connect to Ea's backend." sounds gay in a way, I wonder what they mean by ea's backend..
