First of all, No the map name Isn't going to be 'Surf_Linear'.

Second of all, Yes I'm sorry for not finishing the last map I showed you but I just lost motivation, this time I really like the design and lighting of the map so far.

Alright as some of you might know or see Is that I'm new to mapping, which Is partially why I lost motivation for the last map, Since everything fucked up.
Now I've learned more (In my opinion.) and I believe that I will finish this map.
It Is a Linear Surf that Im aiming to be challenging. Im pretty much set up for the construction of the map so all I need Is CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM and Ideas for the map name.

If I were you; I'd change the ramp texture (or the wall textures) so you can clearly see the difference between the two. It's always good to use contrasts.

Hi

- Dont use same texture for ramp and for walls, its ok for ramps but bad for walls it makes the map bland.
- Use a custom skybox
- the surf looks cool from the screenshots

Yeah definitely change the wall or ramp texture. Also, change the light's metal texture to something lighter. I don't know how it looks in game, but it looks solid black if you don't look too close. Also too much contrast between the side and front of the lights (http://i.imgur.com/X24kaF8.jpg)

Don't use the unlit white texture and make different light brushes. Those brushes for your lights look really similar to a lot of other light brushes people use on their earlier maps

Strongly recommend ditching that skybox and finding a nice custom one on gamebanana. Also your lighting could use some work.

Oh and 1000x what tioga said, I hate that blindingly white texture that people spam everywhere, hurts my eyes and makes the map look sloppy.
