Baby Bertha
« on: June 17, 2013, 07:50:11 AM »
I just ordered all the parts for my second custom computer. Yummy.
I tried to make it as small as possible yet not be a paperweight.
Aptly named 'Baby Bertha' because my first computer was a super tower named Bertha. It's been about 4 years since I built her. :sniff:

XION XON-720P mATX/ ITX Slim Desktop Case

AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor

BIOSTAR A960D+ AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Western Digital WD Blue 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16

Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (this was free!)

Waiting until July for the Node 304 White to come out so I can build a custom NAS.
Lastly I'll buy myself I nice desk. With lots of curves and cabinets and :jizz:
Will post pictures. So excited!!!

On a side note, my little brother is giving me a pet chinchilla. What to name it.....  \
What the fuck happened?

Really? AMD?

Not that I should talk.  My main box is a 6-core Phenom.  Intel seems to have better bang/buck these days though.
